In 2017, the Dutch Venue Association was founded. What started years before as the informal venue platform of which several venues were part, turned out to be the prelude to a professional association. A number of venues joined forces and founded the DVA. With the goal of not only connecting venues with each other, but also helping clients by providing a serious hallmark.
As a networking association, DVA strives to be an important knowledge center for members active in the operation of event venues. Furthermore, DVA works closely with key partners in and around the industry. Through collaboration, we aim to improve the reputation of these event venues, ensure quality and represent the interests of our members. We conduct benchmarks and consult on a variety of issues involved in successful event venues.
On the other hand, DVA strives to help clients find event venues that are distinguished by authenticity and professionalism. We do this by checking our members against the 7 Certainties, through which we guarantee the quality and reliability of our venues. When an event location has our hallmark, you as a client are assured of a successful event.
The mission of Dutch Venue Association is to support event venue owners. We do this by creating a collegial network and providing a knowledge center. With this we offer our members support in their activities and business operations.
To fulfill this mission, it is important that the Dutch Venue Association is professionally set up. Affiliated members lend their support to this initiative by actively participating in the association and empowering the board to further develop the DVA in a professional manner.
